The DEVBOARD2 is a proto-typing board used to quickly and easily evaluate the 44 pin PLCC MICROCHIP CPUs such as the 16F877A or the 18F452.

It also provides easy access to each pin on the CPU. In order to accommodate all of the microcontroller’s on-chip peripherals the board comes with switches and a very large, 414 plated-through hole, proto-typing area. So the user can decide which peripherals to be use.

The DEVBOARD2 is provide with a PIF16F877A and 4MHz ceramic resonator.

The DEVBOARD2 is a high quality EPOXY prototype board, complete with a solder mask on both sides of the board, with a high-contrast silk-screen labeling component positions. Board size is a compact 120 x 60mm.
